I could have misjudged, but they seemed like people with money to burn (not a bad thing, just not personally identifiable). Jenny and David had done their research and knew they were able to camp there. This is because it makes accessing Baja California and many other popular spots in western Mexico easy. Right now one of my favorites is Vancity Vanlife (Chrome and Cruz) up in Canada.
